The roundtable, which is taking place on 15 October at Open Banking Expo UK & Europe, will be co-led by Brad Davies, product manager for Open Banking and ESG at Equifax and Carl Riches, sales director at Equifax.

According to Equifax, studies have shown that 68% of customers abandon financial applications, with 32% dropping off when asked to complete actions outside the platform they’re using.

Representatives from leading Open Banking and payment service providers will take part in a collaborative discussion on how leveraging Open Banking can streamline onboarding by auto-filling key consumer information.

During the roundtable, titled ‘What if, you could make Open Banking payments smarter?’, participants will dive into the real-world impact of these innovations, share insights, and explore best practices to improve customer experience and increase efficiency in digital payments.

Adam Cox, managing director of Open Banking Expo, said: “This roundtable hosted by Equifax is timely, given that customer expectations for smooth and seamless payment journeys are higher than ever.

“This session is designed for those looking to engage in knowledge-sharing around making payments smarter, easier, and more user-friendly.”
