Open Banking and financial data connectivity solutions provider Flinks and enterprise resource planning (ERP) provider Koxa have formed a partnership that will give Canadian financial institutions (FIs) improved access to bank feeds and expanded ERP connectivity.
The partnership aims to “streamline” financial institutions’ direct, secure connections with large ERP platforms, such as Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, Workday, and Sage.
Flinks will deploy its connections across Canadian FIs to facilitate the integration of Koxa’s ‘Treasury Gateway’ platform into its network.
Koxa’s Treasury Gateway platform connects banks to their corporate treasury clients, letting clients bank directly from inside their ERP.
The partnership will broaden ERP integration support for Flinks’ FI partners. In addition, Koxa will use Flinks’ bank connections via a secure two-legged OAuth protocol, thereby enabling banks to offer “more efficient” data APIs for corporate clients.
Finally, the collaboration will introduce new data fields for “richer” financial insights via Koxa’s API calls to Flinks’ infrastructure.

Koxa’s co-founder and chief technology officer Camellia George, added: “Koxa has long planned to enter the Canadian market. Partnering with Flinks and their leading bank network creates the perfect opportunity for us to expand ERP-banking with Canadian banks.”
Last month, US-based Regions Bank unveiled a new offering for its treasury management clients, ‘Regions Embedded ERP Finance’, which is driven by Koxa. It is designed to help its clients connect financial data to their own ERP systems so they can better manage cash flow and forecast business needs.
