US-based Open Banking payments platform Link Money has partnered to bring Pay by Bank to ticketing payments.

Link Money has teamed up with Anchor Operating System, an all-in-one ticketing and operating system, to integrate its Pay by Bank solution into Anchor’s ticketing services.

Through the partnership, Anchor will be able to give its clients, including NYC Ferry, Statue of Liberty and Alcatraz, the option to enable their customers to pay for tickets directly from their US bank accounts using Link Money’s Pay by Bank technology.

“By implementing our Pay by Bank solution, Anchor can offer customers frictionless payments, while improving merchant profitability,” said Eric Shoykhet, Link Money’s chief executive officer.

“Pay by Bank delivers significantly lower processing costs at card-like conversion rates with less fraud,” added Shoykhet.

“We’re excited to partner with leading enterprise merchants to drive down the excessive cost of payments in the US.”

Link Money is one of nine fintechs that were chosen by Mastercard, in June, to join its four-month ‘Start Path Open Banking and Embedded Finance’ program.

Participating companies gain access to Mastercard’s Open Banking technology, data connectivity and analytics offerings, as well as to its ecosystem of banks, merchants, partners and digital players globally.

At the start of the year, universal payment platform Optty formed a partnership to offer Link Money’s Pay by Bank solution to its merchant clients.
