Trustly builds presence in fitness & wellness industry with new partnership

Open Banking payments provider Trustly has partnered with Sweden-based BRP Systems, which provides enterprise software and digital services for the fitness and wellness market in the Nordics.

BRP serves more than 2,500 facilities and supports in excess of 3.5 million end users, and will integrate Trustly’s payment solutions into its platform, enabling businesses to “optimise” recurring payment systems.

Among the benefits of the partnership cited by Trustly are enhanced operational efficiency, a reduction in costs, and a boost to customer satisfaction, resulting in increased customer acquisition, improved payment collection and retention rates.

The partnership builds on Trustly’s existing presence in the fitness and wellness market, following its acquisition of SlimPay earlier this year, which brought with it several relationships with “prominent” brands in the space, such as Fitness Park.
