Global Pay by Bank provider Trustly has formed a partnership with Open Payments platform Spreedly to provide merchants with “full-service access” to Pay by Bank solutions.
This collaboration is set to drive improved conversion rates and payment efficiency, while expanding the reach of Trustly’s services across US markets.
Through the partnership, businesses leveraging Spreedly’s range of payment gateways will gain access to Trustly’s Pay by Bank capabilities, without disrupting their existing payment infrastructure.
Trustly will lead the Pay by Bank “pillar” of Spreedly’s Open Payments platform, which is designed to meet the increasing demand for Pay by Bank solutions across the US market.
By combining Trustly’s advanced Pay by Bank and account authentication technologies with Spreedly’s “dynamic” transaction routing capabilities, the collaboration promises to deliver greater payment flexibility and intelligence to merchants.
Ross McFerrin, Trustly Inc’s vice president of enterprise growth, said its collaboration with Spreedly is a significant step towards a unified payments experience becoming the industry standard.
“By integrating Trustly’s Pay by Bank offerings with Spreedly’s orchestration platform, we’re providing merchants an all-in-one solution that allows them to choose the best payment methods to offer their customers, while simplifying the complexity of payment integrations,” McFerrin said.
Rose Francois, Spreedly’s vice president of global partnerships and business development, added: “Spreedly has long demonstrated its ability to securely vault and orchestrate payments across card networks. By partnering with Trustly, we are excited to extend these benefits by embedding Pay by Bank flows directly into our Open Payments platform.
“Together, we’ll enhance payment flexibility and security, empowering merchants to meet the growing demand for efficient, data-driven payment solutions, while driving stronger outcomes for the broader payments ecosystem.”
Trustly recently launched the next iteration of its payment technology ‘Pay N Play’, harnessing its proprietary data engine, Azura, to reduce average login time. It will pilot its Azura-powered ‘Pay N Play’ technology with select gaming operators in 2025, before preparing for a wider rollout.
